Greater Moncton Progress Club’s 2011 Antler Breakfast

Greater Moncton Progress Club Antler BreakfastI attended my first Greater Moncton Progress Club Antler Breakfast this morning at the Delta Beauséjour Hotel. Had a great time! It may have been my first Antler Breakfast, but it certainly won’t be my last!

According to an article written by James Foster and published in the Moncton Times & Transcript on November 18, about 1,500 people attended last year. “All money raised goes to help disadvantaged families and children in the community, starting with the following evening’s Majesta Santa Claus Parade, where club members ensure that sick children from The Moncton Hospital and the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre get to see the parade from the finest (and likely the most comfortable) vantage point in the city – a pedway over Main Street,” according to the article.

Here are some photos I took at the event. Click on the image for a larger version.
