PSA for Melbourne, Australia, train system goes viral worldwide

A clever PSA for train safety developed by ad agency McCann Group for Metro Trains (Melbourne, Australia) has taken the Internet by storm. Already, Dumb Ways to Die performed by Tangerine Kitty has amassed 20 million views on YouTube since Nov. 14! The campaign includes an interactive website.

This is a perfect example of an organic viral video. Catchy tune… funny… gets the point across… and counter-intuitive. Who would have thought until the very last seconds that it was a PSA for train safety in an Australian city? Not me!
