I was thrilled to hear today that my Greater Moncton Sunrise Rotary Club colleague Carol O’Reilly has been appointed CEO of the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce. The announcement was made today in a Chamber message to its members.

Carol replaces Nancy Whipp, who held the position for two years before leaving in December to pursue private business interests.

A native of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Carol is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and has resided in Moncton for 20 years. Previous to joining the GMCC as CEO, she worked full time in her own training and mediation company. Fluently bilingual, she also holds a certificate in mediation from Dalhousie University and attended negotiation courses at Harvard University’s Program on Negotiation.

I wish Carol all the best in her new position and Nancy all the best in her business endeavours, as well!
