Fruitcake lovers will love this recipe!

Brian Cormier - FruitcakeIf you love fruitcake that’s dark and boozy, you’ll love this fruitcake recipe courtesy of My Island Bistro Kitchen! You’ll love all her recipes, actually! I make this fruitcake every year now. If you love fruitcake, this will be your favourite! If making fruitcake intimidates you, no worries! Just follow the instructions and you’ll be fine! The pan I used was like one shown in the recipe (Fat Daddio 8-inch square cheesecake pan with removable bottom) and can be found here.

If you’re not a fruitcake fan (or even if you are) and prefer seafood during the holidays, check out my very popular blog post containing a scan of Moncton’s beloved Cy’s Seafood Restaurant recipe book. Click here to check it out. And yes, the book includes their delicious seafood casserole!

Enjoy!
